• Many footpaths wind through the vineyards, one of wich starts just outside your room.
• Just behind our house, within easy walking distance, the Mont Rome rises to a height of 1600 feet, from the top of which on a clear deay you can see Mont Blanc on the horizon, and at night time a miriad of stars the like of which you will never have seen before.
• Wine tasting (dégustation) at many local wine cellars; tennis courts, free of charge for our guests ; boules.

Within ten minutes drive :

• Two pretty little castles : la Rochepot et de Marguerite de Bourgogne ( Couches).
• The 14^thcentury covered market square in the medieval centre of the little town of Nolay.
• A modern casino in Santenay
• Canal du centre with fluvial cruises, and house boat to rent
• La Voie verte , paved cycle path running alongside.

Further field :

• Many villages, steeped in history, and renowned for their gastronomy and famous wines, Beaune, Pommard, Meursault, Mercurey, Autun, Cluny..to name but a few.
